I say we skip the filibuster part and get to the "government shutdown" part. I'm eagerly awaiting that

All he did was waste time. He pretty much threw a formal tantrum.

All he did was waste time. He pretty much threw a formal tantrum. He was angry, and for good reason too! Obamacare is a nightmare...the Democrats and Neo-Conservatives are pulling every kind of dirty trick they can to stop us from defunding it. Including LYING.

I don't recall any lies, the RepubliCANTS just didn't listen when Obama when explaining the bill when it first came to a vote.

He did not throw a "tantrum", he spoke for 22 hours to make a point about how frustrated he was with Obamacare. He went off topic once to read a bedtime story to his children..is that such a crime? You are believing the Liberal media slander saying that he went on the senate floor and made a fool of himself...which is not true. Did you actually watch his filibuster, or are you spouting lies that CNN told you?

Did you actually watch his filibuster, or are you spouting lies that CNN told you? First off, I don't watch CNN...they are Obama loving warmongering fools. I watch MSNBC. They actually make some resemblance of sense. Second off, no I did not watch his filibuster...I have better things to do. But Ted Cruz makes a fool out of himself and his party on a daily basis, it's not much of a stretch to say he did the same during his filibuster. Third, if he wanted to read his children a bedtime story..he could have gone home and done it instead of making a mockery out of the capital. Just sayin...

But I agree with his filibuster on Obamacare and I wish more people would do the same. I wouldn't go so far as to say he makes a fool out of himself...just because you disagree with someone doesn't make them a fool. He was busy standing up for our rights...he kind of didn't have a chance to "go home". Besides, it's not like anyone was really watching...people were too busy watching Jersey Shore or whatever they like to watch.

The capital makes a mockery of itself every day it's in session. Also, MSNBC is no better than CNN....they are both owned by the same corporation(Times Warner Cable).

How is Ted Cruz a "wacko"? His foreign policy...I don't support isolationism. I don't want to get off-topic...but you and I will discuss this. Peace is not isolationism. Check out my post: "What is Non-Interventionism" in the Foreign Policy section.

You couldn't make a more ignorant statement if you tried..."I don't watch CNN, but I watch MSNBC"?? Seriously?? They are practically sister channels. Not to mention the fact, like John Liberty said, they are both owned by the same mega corporation! Also MSNBC all but lays down on the floor and kisses Obama's feet...they practically worship the man.
