So you are making a generalization that all Liberals are evolutionists...First off that's not remotely true. Just like not all Republicans are Christian, not all Democrats are Atheist. I know several religious Liberals, in fact their religion is one of their main reasons for being Liberal. They do not believe in war, they believe that "God wanted strict laws to keep people in line" and the most asinine of all: "God chooses all our leaders, so we need to follow them without question because disobeying them is disobeying God." I don't know where that came from.
Also, your argument holds no basis in reality in this argument. If you do not believe your own argument, how can you expect anyone to take you seriously in this debate? Debate him with your own beliefs, don't use a belief that you don't believe yourself to debate. If you can not debate him properly, tell him so. Don't run off and refuse to reply like you did on the Abortion forum, or use false arguments that you don't even believe yourself.
Last of all, your argument was false anyway. Evolution doesn't just "magically happen" whenever a species is in trouble. It takes thousands of years to evolve. Also, you claim that the earth flooding isn't an issue because we will just "overcome it". People will die in a situation like that. A lot of people will die. You claim to think that every life is precious, which is your basis for your abortion arguments but yet you are willing to sacrifice lives so you can pump crap chemicals into your system and the environment. Also, the floods are the least of our issues. What if all the ice and polar animals die? That could unstable the delicate ecosystem of the world.
I don't buy into a lot of the environment stuff myself. Electric cars do not help the environment. Neither does taking shorter showers. But it is undeniable that our actions are having an effect on our planet. To think otherwise is only foolish. When there are multitudes of scientific proof on the subject, and you don't read them, that's called denial.
1. You are absolutely correct. When I made the statement on evolution...I made my entire argument illegitimate.
2. I did not run off from the abortion debate. I have not had enough time to sit down and do the research I necessary to respond. In the very near future there will be a response.
Congratulations AmazingDomo... you won this debate.

At least you can admit that you are wrong and/or uninformed, I have to give you credit for that. You made some decent points, however they were misplaced. I'd suggest at least minor research on evolution, the concept clearly does not resignate with you fully.
