Like Democrats handle everything, they will tax everything they don't like. I actually think this is a good idea. If we tax guns that will deter a lot of people from buying them, which lowers the crime rate without violating the 2nd amendment. |

This will only deter law abiding citizens from purchasing firearms. |

THe problem with your statement is that the criminals will still by the guns illegally, which in turns still hurts the Law Abiding Citizens. The constitution is pretty clear... it is OUR RIGHT to bear arms..

militia- refers to an army or other fighting force that is composed of non-professional fighters; citizens of a nation
dont confuse military with militia. MIlitia is the citizens...
