V for Vendetta, a very popular movie that followed the rebellious acts of a man named "V" as he rose against the tyranny of the British Parliament, is no doubt a movie that encourages rebellion. It also successfully outlined what a revolution would look like in a modern-day society. The 'one spark' concept is played up very well in the movie. The movie even sparked the Anonymous movement! That is why they are commonly associated with the "Guy Fawkes" mask.
Could the newest 'Hunger Games' movie do the same thing? The first movie was extremely popular, especially with the younger crowd. I have read all of the books, and thought that since 'The Hunger Games' had gone mainstream that they would play down the revolution. After watching the trailer, I may be wrong...
What do you think? Could 'Catching Fire' start a spark of revolution within our younger crowds?

People, particularly the younger crowd, are easily influenced by television especially when it does not approach the topic directly. I am encouraged by the fact that a mainstream movie like this does not idolize government...in fact it does the opposite. This could prove to be interesting...

The movie also seems to indirectly preach Libertarian ideals. The whole idea of Katniss fending for herself and her family, will hopefully encourage a work ethic among the younger crowd. Also, I was also very amused by how they played up the media in the books and the first movie. Definitely an accurate representation of the modern day mainstream media.

Yeah, not to mention the use of television screens and mindless violence to pacify the populace.
